The math at scale: 77,000 Chase UR → 100,100 Southwest Rapid Rewards after the bonus. With the 25% bonus, that's 15,000 Amex MR per person. Business class on Air France or KLM SFO→Paris (CDG) or SFO→Amsterdam (AMS) normally costs 60,000 Flying Blue miles one-way, dropping to 48,000 MR with the bonus. 6 Flying Blue fuel surcharges on business class are significant — include them before comparing against cash.
